According to Saramago,

Saramago’s harsh words against the “biggest problem of humanity (religion)” aren’t new or surprising. He is known—in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula—for his harsh words against religion.

I know I’ll buy his new book (yes, even though I’m a Catholic)
