LOOK ITS GOD!/ ¡MIRA! ¡ES DIOS!

English Translation:
-Look its God!
-Where? I dont see him!
-Well you took forever to turn around...
Isn't it the truth.... I have never seen God but it always seems like he is so close.

I Can't Believe They Made it.../No Puedo Creer Que Lo Hicieron...

Someone please tell me this a hoax...

Apparently, Prayer Works Interactive (a real company founded in Boston in 2007) has been working on and is about ready to release their first game for Wii: "Mass: We Pray."

According to the company,

"Prayer Works Interactive is a new game-development company founded in Boston in 2007. We believe there is a lack of quality games based upon traditional family values. Our mission is to fill that void by creating engaging, top-quality games that entertain, inspire and bring families closer to the Lord. Our first game is Mass: We Pray, but look for many more in the months to come."

I can already hear other religions moaning and groaning against the game. Its funny, just when you thought you've seen everything and you thought everything has been made, something always surprises you.

Here's their website: http://masswepray.com/

Without further ado, here's the video: (at the bottom of this post)

The Bible: “a manual of bad habits, a catalog of cruelty and the worst of human nature"

The Bible: “a manual of bad habits, a catalog of cruelty and the worst of human nature,”

Said the Portuguese writer and winner of the Nobel Prize, Jose Saramago.

According to Saramago,

“Yes, the reader understood correctly. The Father ordered Abraham to sacrifice his own son, as if he was simply ordering a cup of water to quench his thirst. This shows his manners, very ingrained. The logical, natural and simply human response would be for Abraham to send the Father to shit!”

And what was the occasion that caused such response from Saramago?:

“CAIN” : Saramago’s new book, which describes the life of Adam and Eve in a very ironic and funny manner.

Saramago’s harsh words against the “biggest problem of humanity (religion)” aren’t new or surprising. He is known—in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula—for his harsh words against religion.

I know I’ll buy his new book (yes, even though I’m a Catholic)

Religious License Plates? I think not...

Say, for example, you are a big believer in religion and it’s a big part of your daily life. You accept it in every way and even see politics through the “glasses of religion.” Your hear great news one day: your representative in congress decides to pass through a some license plates for your car that state “I Believe” next to a Christian cross. Like this:

You’re happy, excited and full of joy, until some liberal wacky sanfrancisco-style judge shoots it down, claiming it UNCONSTITUTIONAL!

Government must never be allowed to express favored treatment for one faith over others," says Americans United executive director Rev. Barry Lynn in Opposing Views

BUT WAIT! Even though Rev. Lynn makes an important point, what about you? Aren’t your beliefs being censored? Freedom of Speech?

So that’s where the issue is:

Freedom of Religious Expression within Government vs. Government Censorship of All types of Religion as to not express favorites.

Who’s right?

South Carolina has recently been in the middle of similar mess when they decided to issue “Christian License Plates.”

I personally feel as though the judge did the right thing to state that the license plates are unconstitutional.

In a somewhat similar case held in Utah, the government was forced to order new license plates when the government advertised “Ski! Utah.” If nonreligious advertisement cannot be placed on license plates then religious icons shouldn’t either.

Also, I have not seen any US state offer Islamic License plates or plates with the Virgin Guadalupe….

It’s simply not fair. Church has not place in Government.
